Yesterday I attended the Study Abroad Fair. At first I was skeptical about it because I don't like stepping outside of my comfort zone. But once I talked to some people and got some brochures, I started to really be interested in it. There was one program for nursing students. The school is going to send them to Guatemala to help people in need dealing with their health. That is the one that interested me the most. I am defiantly going to try to study abroad during my years at Shenandoah. I think it will open my eyes to other countries and have a huge impact on my life.
Christy, you should go to Guatemala! Alex, who sits in front of you to the right, has already written her essay for her application. You should too! What do you have to lose?
